Booster Club Communication

Dear Campo Cross Country Families!    

Greetings from the cross country boosters!  

What a wonderful start we have had to our official season! We know the athletes have been putting in the work and we can’t wait to see them race in a few weeks. We are proud to be members of the Coyote Cross Country team at Campo Verde! Below you will find a lot of information to get us started for the year.    

Sponsorships:

It’s not too late! There is still time to submit sponsorships and shoutouts for our team program.  We are encouraging each athlete to get at least one sponsor for the program. We are looking for sponsors at the $200 level (quarter page ad) and the $300 level (half page ad). Sponsors will receive ad space in the program and their logo will also be placed on the back of our team shirts. Families can also buy "shoutouts" for their athletes for $25 each and this can consist of up to 25 words and a small picture of your athlete to be placed in the team program.  All proceeds from this sponsorship/fundraiser help strengthen our Cross Country program. All sponsorships and shout outs are due by Friday, August 14th! All checks can be made payable to Campo Verde Cross Country. Submissions can be sent following the guidelines on the flyer to campocoyoterunning@gmail.com     

Parent Meeting - The fall season sports meeting will be held on Monday, August 17th at 6:00 pm in the Campo auditorium. Followed by a cross country specific breakout in the choir room .  Please have at least one parent in attendance at this meeting!  There will be lots of important information shared during this meeting.    

Campo Coyote Fan Gear 

Families and friends show your support and order Fan Gear here! We are selling short sleeve shirts, long sleeve hoodies, and hats! The boosters will be purchasing a team shirt for every athlete, but please enter that information on the order form. This year we will be collecting orders through our order form!  Payment can still be made by check, cash, or card.   Cash and checks can be sent in an envelope to practice and given to a coach to be given to the boosters. Card payments will be sent an invoice from the boosters to pay.   All orders are due by Monday, August 17th (at the parent meeting), so that we can get everything ordered as soon as possible and here before our races begin.

In lieu of a fundraiser we are asking for a $100 booster fee for each athlete. This fee is waived for athletes that found sponsors for our program booklet. This fee is different from the school sports fee. The booster fee goes directly toward our program and helps to offset costs of meet entries, end of season banquet, senior banners, and other team needs. Boosters will be available to collect fees at the parent meeting!    

Volunteers - There are many volunteer opportunities to watch for in the coming days and weeks.    Team Pasta Parties  We again will be organizing pasta dinners before the meets!  We will be looking for families to act as the host for the pasta dinners.  This is a great opportunity for our athletes to connect and bond with each other and get pre-race fuel in their bodies! As the host you provide the location and pasta, and the athletes will bring sides, drink, and paper goods as well as camping chairs to sit on! More information to come at our parent meeting! Ready to sign up to host one of our pasta nights?  Pasta Party Sign Up  Chocolate Milk  We will also be sending out a sign up genius for “Chocolate Milk”  where families can sign up to bring two gallons of chocolate milk and cups to the end of some of their harder workouts.  The kids love this treat and look forward to it on Monday mornings and Wednesdays! Please look for that sign up coming soon!    

Woodbridge -  Woodbridge is our travel invitational that is held in California every year! The meet this year is going to take place from Fri. Sept 18 - Sun. Sept 20, 2026. We are planning on taking two large vans  to Irvine, CA and staying two nights in a hotel near the race. Full Woodbridge Details can be found here Woodbridge Info.    We expect the cost to be around $250 per athlete this year. Please fill out this form to let us know if your child intends to compete at this race. There are race levels for all athletes.
